Your profile/portfolio will be evaluated for current or future contract opportunities. We are seeking individuals who have successfully worked or are open to working virtual/remotely and are accepting applications at all levels (Specialist to Senior Manager/Director level).

A day in the life of a VentureWeb UI/UX Designer contractor:

Working closely with our client’s global creative, interactive and digital leads across various channels and industries, you will help create and execute top notch design initiatives, story tell and create human interactive experiences through design. You will draw upon your strategic and creative talent to craft and execute meaningful, appealing, user friendly design across a diverse range of channels.

What our clients look for in a candidate:

  • Stellar design portfolio with relevant work samples.
  • Design and prototyping.
  • Strong sketch and design mockups.
  • Experience working collaboratively with creative teams such as in-house and third-party design, developer/tech teams, production, copy etc. to develop concepts and prototypes across different channels.
  • Experience with various digital and traditional channels (web, banners, logos, interactive, motion, mobile, tablet etc.)
  • Design within strong brand and organization guidelines.
  • Strong experience using Design tools (Adobe creative suite, Axure, Balsamiq etc.)
  • Senior level: strategic design thinking, ability to lead teams and junior-mid level designers.
  • Junior to mid-level: execute strategic design thinking, design for a variety of projects under the guidance of a UX/UI Design Lead.
  • Multitask and work on multiple projects/tasks at one time.
  • Worked in advertising, marketing, digital agency environment highly preferred.
  • Proficient in knowledge and application of responsive UI/UX design.
  • Know how to create visual annotations and functional specifications to prepare files for collaborative creative teams (i.e. developer teams).
  • Deliver interface design solutions for various clients, including highly detailed annotated wireframes and user flows within different applications.
  • Associate degree or formal training/certifications in graphic design, visual communication or related field.

Details: Contract positions, up to and including 40 hours/week (not temp-to-hire)

Location: Telecommuting within USA, Canada or UK

To be considered for positions with VentureWeb, you must have demonstrated UX/UI design experience; A degree/diploma or formal training/certifications in graphic design, visual communication or related field; demonstrated experience working for/with corporate clients; hands-on experience with various design technologies; successfully worked virtual/remotely. Design samples/portfolio will be requested.
